Austin Pea State University - APSUClarksville, Tennessee – When Austin Pea State University’s (APSU) Science on Tap event returns to Strawberry Alley Ale Works on September 6, Dr. Spencer Buckner will discuss the first few months of observations from NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope.

The James Webb Space Telescope is the largest telescope of any kind ever launched into space, and Buckner’s presentation will cover funding, construction, launch, and operation of the telescope. It also discusses comparisons between James’ Webb Space Telescope and the Hubble Space Telescope.

The presentation, entitled “Opening New Universes with the James Webb Space Telescope,” will be held on Tuesday, September 6th at 5:30 pm on the 2nd floor of the Strawberry Alley Ale Works.
